Mad about marble

Marble isn’t just for kitchen counters anymore, my friends. No siree! It is popping up all over the place and I am more than inclined to join the bandwagon.  Check out this stylin phone cover I got on Amazon for under $20.

And then of course, I couldn’t forget my beloved Kindle Paperwhite, so I bought this gem from Amazon too (also for under $20)!

Check out this fabulous marble jewelry too!  Earrings are Sugarfix by BaubleBar at Target and necklace from Jane.com (similar one here).  At $10 for each piece, you can’t afford not to get this stellar combination. Go on! Get mad about marble too!

**UPDATE: Jane just added these great marble studs in geometric patterns and they are only $4.99!

Baubles for less

If you haven’t been hiding under a rock for the last little while, then you’ve most certainly become familiar with the awesome jewelry from BaubleBar. But what you may not know is that they have come out with their own line for Target called Sugarfix which is just as cute and trendy at a much lower price.  It’s a great way to get in on some of the trendier pieces of jewelry, like tassels, without breaking the bank and a fun way to add a pop of color to an outfit.

These turquoise arrowhead earrings, which remind me of the Kendra Scott Katelyn ones, are only $12.99 and look great paired with the Natasha wooden beaded necklace also from Target and under $15. Check out the link above for the complete Sugarfix line by BaubleBar or head to your nearest Target to see it in person.

red and turquoise 4

Here I paired the combo with my new favorite t-shirt dress from J. Crew Factory Store, which is on sale for under $25 right now and comes in both petite and regular sizes. I love how the turquoise pops against the coral color and it’s so super comfy and light-weight. It would also double as a great cover-up, so it’s the perfect travel dress for the summer! Size up though (I’m wearing a medium) to avoid any clinginess.

Pockets and lace for the win

How’s that for a winning combo? This precious terry dress from Caslon features two of my absolute favorite design details……lace and pockets! The bodice of the dress is a stylish striped pattern and the sleeves are a great contrast with the lace.  And, did I mention it has pockets?

I am wearing an XS in this, so I would say it is true to size since I wear a size 2 in most things.

Looks so precious with Converse and my Tom’s ballet flats alike and it’s currently on sale for $41 at Nordstrom. Hurry before it’s gone in your size!

Gaga for gingham

So, along with everyone else and their mother, I’m going gaga for gingham this season. From dresses to tops to swim suits, this classic pattern is all the rage and I’ve been biding my time trying to select which piece to purchase first.  The other night on a shopping trip to Target while the kids were at children’s church, I came across this precious green gingham shirt made from a lightweight crepe material and I knew instantly it was coming home with me. I rarely find myself buying Merona brand items, but this was certainly an exception and if they keep this up, it won’t be the last time either.  At just under $20, this shirt is a steal that will have you following trend but in a classic way.

Head to your nearest Target or click the link above before they disappear! I’m wearing an XS in the top and have plenty of room. Jeans can be found here and are the perfect cropped length for sandals and wedges alike. Earrings are Kendra Scott “Lee” model in a green color that I don’t think is available anymore.

gingham on me

This outfit is just screaming company picnic or outdoor concert, yes? Below I’ve paired it with some white eyelet shorts and suede tassel sandals for an even more casual, but still precious, look.
